How It Works
Job Networking
Workbay provides visibility and motivation for local career opportunities and a roadmap for accessing them.
Employers can post jobs individually, by upload template, or via API integration to their existing system.
Workbay integrates to national job posting feeds with approximately 2 Million job postings daily, which may be curated based on audience and need.
Job-seekers can knowledgeably respond to job posts with features:
- View job openings based on current location.
- Read aloud Job Posts.
- Targeted work-skills training and a supportive resume-builder.
- Seamless mobile or desktop application process.
Skills Development
Workbay creates engaging learning and performance assessment for entry level workers. We partner with our clients to improve speed to performance, speed to safety, and speed to engagement of new hire employees, influencing improved retention and promotion rates.
US Employers spend about $170B on corporate training, averaging about $1300 per employee. The cost of turnover of a frontline employee is approximately $3500 per employee departure on average.
We optimize the return on investment in entry level skills training by:
- Extending training to Pre-Hires so that Job Seekers can access corporate-recognized online learning to badge their resume with needed skills prior to interview and/or to begin their training on their personal device the day the offer is made.
- Enrollment of new hires in interactive text-message support to reinforce training, assess understanding and attitude, and capture feedback on the orientation experience.
Explore Careers
The Workbay platform integrates open data feeds with occupation information with local job postings and with a library of workskills training and career pathway information, including over 1000 “career pathway cards” that each include a video portrait of a real person on the job, describing that occupation and the personal path to their position.
Workbay provides students and job seekers with videos and information about their local economic opportunities and career pathways, including:
- Career pathway and local training program information, in context with the needs and resources of your local region, with easy ability to update as new employer requirements, and new training and college programs, develop.
- City-wide internship programs.
- Online work readiness skills programs.
- Lesson plans that integrate Workbay in the classroom for career assessment, and career and technical education.
- College integrations through single-sign on can promote Career Pathway information curated by a student’s programs and credits.
